Curtain Walling by Alumil

Curtain Walling by Alumil

Alumil Curtain Walling brings together Alumil’s specialist façade systems into one dedicated group, offering advanced options for both residential and commercial buildings. This range combines modern design, reliable performance, slim sightlines and proven structural capability, making it suitable for everything from contemporary homes to large architectural developments.

Both systems accommodate fixed curtain wall screens, inset doors and windows, and a full selection of projecting, parallel projecting and tilt-and-turn configurations. Glazing options from thin single panes to deep insulated units are supported, allowing tailored thermal and acoustic performance based on project requirements. Sustainability is also integral, with certified recycled aluminium options and full Cradle to Cradle accreditation across the range.

Alumil SMARTIA M7 Curtain Walling

SMARTIA M7 is Alumil’s high-performance curtain walling system, designed for projects that require larger glazed areas, greater structural capacity and consistent sightlines that standard window systems cannot provide. With a 50mm external profile width and mullion/transom depths up to 250mm, M7 delivers the strength needed for exposed locations, multi-storey glazing, stairwells, double-height spaces and floor-to-ceiling elevations.

Because of its strength and flexibility, M7 is widely used in residential settings where floor-to-ceiling glazing is desired, such as double-height living spaces, large stairwell windows, gallery landings or heavily glazed extensions. It supports projected and parallel-projected opening modules up to 180kg, enabling ventilation without compromising the overall façade design.

Alumil SMARTIA M35 Curtain Walling

SMARTIA M35 is a slimline curtain walling system designed for maximum transparency and natural light. With an external visible width of just 35mm, it provides a refined, minimal appearance ideal for shopfronts, contemporary home extensions and projects where clear, uninterrupted sightlines are important.

Despite its minimalist exterior, M35 delivers strong certified performance in air permeability, water tightness and wind pressure. This makes it suitable for exposed locations and projects where resilience and reliable weather protection are required as well as aesthetics.

The system supports a full range of opening elements, including projected and tilt-and-turn windows, ensuring that the streamlined appearance can be maintained even when ventilation is needed. Its balance of slim design, practical operation and competitive pricing makes it a popular choice across a broad range of residential and light commercial applications.
